Gretchen Clarke Jr, has been a resident of Eureka Montana since 1997. Wanting a life in the country she left California and landed in Eureka, MT….which means “I found it!” Farming soon became her life, raising everything Organic including her renowned Garlic.

After suffering the tragic loss of her young son, Gretchen turned to Art.  She began her painting with a gusto, finding art as her only solace for the extreme unbearable sorrow.  “Art saved my life” Gretchen says.

Gretchen’s art reflects her love for Montana’s extreme beauty, and she embodies that in her work.  She works with oil paintings,  acrylics and Fluid art.  Her unique style brings peace and tranquility to her works.
